For more than 30 years I have looked at companies from the inside: as an executive, as a consultant and, for the past decade, as a forensic economic expert. That is the perspective I bring to advisory boards and to audit, risk and finance committees.

What forensic work teaches a board.
A decade of analysing complex business disputes has taught me where numbers tend to hide problems: fragile assumptions, ambiguous contracts and controls that exist only on paper. On a board, that experience helps ask the right question while there is still time to change course.
In forensic work, independence is a working condition. I bring the same discipline to the boardroom.
